I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University. As a psychotherapist, I do not prescribe medicine, but I am trained in a broad range of therapeutic techniques. While it is impossible to guarantee any specific results regarding your therapeutic goals, I will work with you as conscientiously and diligently as I can to achieve the best possible outcome for you.

Your first appointment will be about getting to know one another and understanding your situation and the problems that have brought you to seek psychotherapy. Following this, I will give you my treatment recommendations and we will develop a plan. In general, therapy sessions are usually once weekly, or every other week. Although, this varies with the individual or family’s needs. The length of treatment is widely variable depending on the problems we need to deal with. Typically sessions are 45 minutes long. Insurance company’s have changed their contracted rate to pay for a 45 minute session rather then one hour.

I am a licensed LPC-Supervisor.

I supervise LPC interns as they achieve their 3000 hours necessary to qualify for their LPC license.
